Black Knights - Final Four!
Congratulations to the Boys Basketball Team as they beat McEachern Saturday night 67 - 60. We had a tremendous crowd and thanks to all for making the drive to Carrollton. We need as big as a crowd as possible Thursday - 5:30 at the Gwinnett Arena as we cheer on our boys against the Westlake Lions. Westlake finished the regular season ranked #1 in the state and they have won their first three games in the state playoffs by scores of 83 - 67, 62 - 45, and 75 - 48. We are capable of getting the job done with a great crowd and backing of all Black Knights students.
The last two wins have set a school record for most wins in a year passing the old mark of 27 with a record of 29-2 on the year. A few more accolades were received on Friday as Coach Allen was named Region 8AAAAA Coach of the Year and Brian W. was named 8AAAAA Player of the Year. Jordan A. was named to the 1st Team All-Region and Ayo M. was named Honorable Mention.
