Central recognized as Advanced Placement Honor School
Thursday, February 25, 2010

Central was recently named as an Advanced Placement (AP) Honor School by the Georgia Department of Education.  This award is given by the DOE to schools based not only on the number of students taking the courses, but on the number of students having success in these rigorous courses.

This award highlights our school's academic opportunities for students who achieve at high levels.  Of course, our teachers are an integral to our student's success, and this honor acknowledges our teachers' exceptional work with all of our students.

Congratulations to teachers and students.
